I have always been interested in bringing together the different perspectives and approaches of various academic disciplines. For me, this interdisciplinary approach and an open-minded attitude towards it are fundamental to futures studies, and to Generation Foresight in particular. The objective is:
How can we shape the present so that we and future generations can experience a better future?

For more than 20 years, I have been working as a successful consultant for companies across all sectors, supporting them in developing their future strategies in order to remain capable of acting in a complex world.
For me, scientific futurology is invaluable not only in the business world. I would like to highlight its undeniable benefits for our society, politics, Europe and future generations.
Generation Foresight is my strategic approach to the future, which analyses technological and societal developments not only in terms of trends, markets and technologies, but also through the lens of the generations that will shape, embrace, reject or transform that future.
In Europe, we tend to act ad hoc rather than strategically. With futurology, we create an open discourse for long-term perspectives.
